are responsible for taking down the Flag every afternoon. We rotate this responsibility with different students each day. When I read in your January/February edition of Let’s Talk Trash! ‘The United States Flag is Folded 13 times because...’ I knew we had to explore it with the students. Friday afternoon we took our students out to the flag pole while teachers, Billie McBride & Bethany Weeks. We went through your article with the kids as we took down the flag. It was a great opportunity for them to learn why they do what they do everyday! Attached are some photos of us doing this last Friday. I just thought I would share this with you and say thank you for the educational paper you publish! It is being used in the school and we very much appreciate this!”
