Assault, Breach A 49-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 15 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace and being in the company of someone specific while under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged that on April 15, the man, who had been drinking, was involved in a verbal argument with his 45-year-old girlfriend when he punched her in the head. He was charged accord- ingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.
Warrant A 21-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 11 on the strength of a war- rant. It is alleged that on March 18 the woman failed to attend court, as required, for a domestic related charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Her name was not released as it might identify the victim in the original matter. Threats, Breach A 25-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 11 and charged with threats and breach of two probation orders and one undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on April 11, the man was involved in a verbal argument with his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend when he threatened to punch her in the head. Police charged him accordingly and held him for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter. Over 80 Gregory Perrin, 53, of Ottawa, was arrested on April 13 and charged with over 80. It is alleged that the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when he was stopped at the port of entry. He was charged with over 80 and later released to appear in court on April 22. Breach A 19-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 13 and charged with breach- ing her undertaking for communicating with someone she has conditions not to and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on April 13, the woman was found to be in the company of the person for which she has conditions not to. Her name was not released as the matter stems from a domestic incident and might identify the victim in the matter. Assault A 27-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 14 and charged with assault. It is alleged that on April 13, the woman was involved in a verbal argument with her 53-year-old boyfriend when she kneed him in the ribs and bit him on the wrist. Her name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter. Threats Kim Masson, 54, of Williamstown, was arrested on April 15 and charged with threats. It is alleged that during the month of April, 2014, the man threatened to shoot a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was charged accord- ingly and held for a bail hearing.

Officials handed out Municipal Works Team Player Awards to eight employees : Phil Deserres, Todd Prieur, Kevin Drew, Bernie Pare, Brian Bray, Fern Amelotte, Ron Lauzon and Ray Rav- ary.
