A dotted line that connects the position of the vessel with the chosen destination indicates that the route is being calculated. As soon as the route has been calculated, this is displayed in green. Parts of the route may be coloured red. This means that they are lo- cated close to land and additional attention is required. Navigation to the chosen destination has now started. The map’s zoom level is adjusted automatically so that the vessel and the desti- nation are visible on the screen. 7.2.1 Adding intermediate route points Open the menu for route changes by pressing and holding the route line. Now move the intermediate route point to the desired location and press the blue icon. A dotted line is displayed from the vessel, via the intermediate route points, to the final destination.
