But though Jesus Christ will be worshipped, the worshipping o f Him will be “ to the glory o f God the Father.” So we have here side by side with the most complete statement o f the Deity o f Jesus Christ, also a definite statement o f His subordina tion to the Father.
saw, and even Satan himself some day will be compelled to bow the knee to Jesus. “And every tongue” shall confess that “Jesus Christ is Lord,” i. e., absolute Lord, Lord o f all (cf. Acts 10:36; Ps. 24:10). This title “ Lord” is clearly a Divine title.
