I called everyone I knew, and no one—not a single plumber or handyman—was available late on a Saturday night.
So I went over there and started shoveling shit into a spackling bucket—what else could I do? I had my fishing waders, no exaggeration, and a painting mask, shoveling raw sewage for three hours on a Saturday night.
I have had some lowmoments inmy life, but that might be one of the worst.
