when I got back home, I still had my houses and my car business.

But after a fewmonths, I learned that I hadn’t actually lost anything . The only thing I “lost” was a deal I never actually had. And yeah, that made me feel really bad about myself, but that was just my ego. I realized that I felt bad about myself generally, and that by having Hollywood “accept me,” it made me feel important. It gave me significance. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Hollywood couldn’t tell me who I was. So what that they didn’t want me? That doesn’t make me a bad person, or less, or anything.
