fuel. I remember thinking in my head, not with a chip, but as my confidence builder, “The hell with you all, go ahead and laugh now. We’ll see what happens in the race.” I raced in the 650cc class. Then they had an 800cc class, which was amuch bigger machine. Then they had anOpen “Mod” class. Meaning there were 1000cc snowmobiles, much bigger thanmine, modified out to themax, and wow, they were so crazy loud. I threw all caution to the wind and entered all three of those racing brackets. I took first place in the 650cc, took first place in the 800cc, and took third place in the Open. In fact, I beat everybody so pathetically bad that they protested and they literally tore my machine down.

Meaning, they took themotor apart to see if I was cheating, see if it was actually a 1000cc engine and I had lied.

And there wasn’t one thing wrong with it.

Everybody was in shock and could not understand how this little 650cc machine, coming from this guy with a pickup truck and a milk crate of old tools, could beat them.
