P711 Seminar in Ethical and Professional Issues (2)

A study of the ethics of professional psychology and relationships to other professional individuals and organizations. Special attention is given to the American Psychological Association 's Code of Ethics. P712 Independent Study (1-4) Individual work, directed reading, or special problems under the supervi­ sion of a member of the faculty with whom specific arrangements have been made. P721 Dissertation Research (1-18) Planning and implementation of a research project including literature review, problem definition, hypothesis formation, design, and implementa­ tion of field research, data analysis, and report writing. The first unit of dis­ sertation study is a required seminar in psychological bibliography. (see P650) . P731 Internship in Counseling Psychology Professional experience in an internship facility approved by the Professional Training Committee. Prerequisites: Successful completion of comprehensive examinations, course requirements, professional qualifying examination, and dissertation or professional paper proposal.
