Der Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S dient dazu, statische Arbeitslasten (WLL) von bis zu maximal 60 kg an Drahtseilen mit dem Durchmesser 4,0mm abzuhängen.
Er ist vorrangig für den Einsatz im Geltungsbereich der BGV C1 entwickelt: Veranstaltungs- und Produktionsstätten für szenische Darstellung; Messebau; etc.
Schritt 1/Step 1
Für eine sichere Verwendung, muss für eine ausreichend feste Ankoppelung am oberen Befestigungspunkt (Dübel; Haken; etc.; die Verantwortung liegt hierbei beim Anwender) gesorgt werden. Diese Anbringung sollte von einem Fachmann übernommen werden. Die Funktionsweise des Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S mit dafür vorgesehen Drahtseil ist wie folgt: Die Sicherungsmutter wird, von Hand ausreichend aufgedreht, ein Ende des Drahtseiles wird in die Führung des Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S geschoben. (siehe Abbildung). Sie können den Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S nun stufenlos nach oben verstellen, er klemmt bei Belastung in jeder Position. Das Seil muss am Ende des Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S weit genug herausragen, so dass es gut sichtbar ist, ca. eine RopeFix-Länge. Nachdem sich der Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S an der gewünschten Stelle am Seil befindet, und die individuelle bzw. zertifizierte Arbeitslast erreicht hat, wird die Sicherungsmutter soweit wie möglich von Hand (ohne Werkzeug!) fest- bzw. auf Anschlag geschraubt. Um den Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S an eine andere Stelle am Seil zu verschieben, verfährt man umgekehrt: Den Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S entlasten, die Sicherungsmutter weit genug, von Hand aufdrehen, die Führung eindrücken und den Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S an eine andere Position verschieben.

Verhalten bei Überlast
Wird der Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S mit Überlast beaufschlagt, wird die Überlastfunktion ausgelöst. Damit ist der Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S unbrauchbar geworden und muss ersetzt werden.

Verwendungshinweis / Instructions for use
Seile und RopeFix (auch die Beschriftung!) dürfen nicht beschädigt sein. Die Führung des RopeFix muss vor der Verwendung einen spürbaren Gegendruck aufweisen. Das einzufädelnde Seilende muss verschlossen sein (Verzinnung; Schrumpfschlauch, Verklebung, thermisch verschlossen), um ein Aufdrehen des Seils zu verhindern. Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S müssen mindestens paarweise eingesetzt werden (§7; BGV C1). Die Seilablenkung gegenüber der Symmetrieachse der Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S darf maximal 5° betragen (siehe Kennzeichnung auf dem RopeFix) Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S dürfen nicht als Verbindungselemente von Sicherungsseilen eingesetzt werden. Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S dürfen nicht dynamisch belastet werden. Drahtseilhalter RopeFix 40S sind nicht für die Benutzung im Außenbereich zulässig. Es dürfen für RopeFix-Systeme nur Koppelteile wie z.B. Ringschrauben verwendet werden, wenn an diesen keine eigene Tragfähigkeitsangabe angebracht ist bzw. wenn diese nicht mehr lesbar ist. Unterschiedliche Tragfähigkeitsangaben dürfen wegen der Verwechslungsgefahr nicht angegeben sein.
Die Verwendung des RopeFix 40S, ist mit folgenden Drahtseilen zulässig:
verzinktes Stahlseil ø4,0mm 6x7 + 1 FE DIN EN 12385-4 min. Festigkeit = 1770 N/mm² verzinktes Stahlseil ø4,0mm 6x19 + 1 FE DIN EN 12385-4 min. Festigkeit = 1770 N/mm²

The Cable Glider RopeFix 40S suspends static loads up to 60 kg (WLL) on steel wire ropes. It was designed for applications which are in compliance with the accident prevention rules described in “DGUV BGV C1”, such as stage productions; fairs, etc. A safe connection requires a sufficiently loadable upper attachment point. Make sure this attachment point has been installed by a trained specialist.
The connection between Cable Glider RopeFix 40S and steel wire rope is always done in an analogous manner: The end of the wire rope is inserted into the retainer of the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S. Now the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S can be randomly shifted along the wire rope. As soon as a load is attached, it grips the wire rope. Make sure the wire rope is inserted into the RopeFix far enough to see it sticking out of the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S on its other end. After affixing the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S in the desired position, tighten the safety-nut by hand (don´t use tools!) as far as possible. Now the full working-load can be attached to the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S. It´s no longer moveable. After the working-load has been suspended the safety-nut has to be retightened once more (again, do not use tools!). To affix the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S to another position on the wire rope, simply reverse the procedure: take the suspended load off the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S, completely unscrew the safety-nut, press down the retainer. Now the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S can again be shifted up and down the wire rope. wire ropes and Cable Glider RopeFix 40S may not be damaged including the inscription. the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S spring-loaded retainer has to have a distinctly spring resistance. the wire rope end inserted into the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S must be sealed (tinning; heat-shrinkable sleeve). always use at least 2 Cable Glider RopeFix 40S for each suspended object. the wire ropes exit angle from the retainer may not exceed 5° Cable Glider RopeFix 40S may not be used as connecting elements on safety ropes. Cable Glider RopeFix 40S are not suitable for dynamic loads. Cable Glider RopeFix 40S are not permitted for use in outdoor areas. It is only allowed to use coupling parts for the RopeFix Systems, for example eybolts, if there is no separate indication of working load limit attached on it or when it is no longer legible. Different working load limits shall not be inscribed because of the likelihood of confusion. Remarks and Advice:
Overload
If the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S is exposed to overload, the overload mechanism is triggered by a movement of the retainer beyond a critical region. Thus, the Cable Glider RopeFix 40S has become unusable and must be replaced.

Now the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S can again be shifted up and down the wire rope. wire ropes and Cable Glider RopeFix 80S may not be damaged including the inscription. the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S spring-loaded retainer has to have a distinctly spring resistance. the wire rope end inserted into the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S must be sealed (tinning; heat-shrinkable sleeve). always use at least 2 Cable Glider RopeFix 80S for each suspended object. the wire ropes exit angle from the retainer may not exceed 5° Cable Glider RopeFix 80S may not be used as connecting elements on safety ropes. Cable Glider RopeFix 80S are not suitable for dynamic loads. Cable Glider RopeFix 40S are not permitted for use in outdoor areas. It is only allowed to use coupling parts for the RopeFix Systems, for example eybolts, if there is no separate indication of working load limit attached on it or when it is no longer legible. Different working load limits shall not be inscribed because of the likelihood of confusion. Remarks and Advice:
Overload
If the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S is exposed to overload, the overload mechanism is triggered by a movement of the retainer beyond a critical region. Thus, the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S has become unusable and must be replaced.

The use of the following wire ropes is permissible for the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S:
ø 6.0 mm galvanised steel wire rope 6x19, similar to DIN EN 12385-4; rated tensile strength = 1770 N/mm² ø 6.0 mm galvanised steel wire rope 6x37, similar to DIN EN 12385-4; rated tensile strength = 1770 N/mm² ø 8.0 mm galvanised steel wire rope 6x19, similar to DIN EN 12385-4; rated tensile strength = 1770 N/mm² ø 8.0 mm galvanised steel wire rope 6x37, similar to DIN EN 12385-4; rated tensile strength = 1770 N/mm² The minimum tensile strengths of wire ropes used may not be lower than those inscribed on the Cable Glider RopeFix 80S.
