What happens if I share my personal agent link or QR code with my client? There is no way for clients to choose this product directly using your agent link. If living benefits are important to your client, we recommend choosing the Term with Living Benefits tile in the quoter. Then, either do an agent-assisted sale, or run a quote and share it with your client. How can I ensure my client gets term with living benefits vs. another term product through Ethos? Start a quote by choosing Term with Living Benefits in the quoter. Our standard product routing may present a term product that does not offer living benefits. What product is my client routed to if they are not eligible for Ethos Term – Choice? Some applicants will get the Terminal Illness rider only. Clients who are not eligible for Ethos Term – Choice will be invited to apply for TruStage® Term Life, a instant decision product offering up to $300,000 in coverage for clients ages 20–69.
Is there manual underwriting? We estimate 5–10% of cases will be routed to manual underwriting.
What happens if my client’s case is declined in manual underwriting? Your and your client will be alerted via email. We recommend reaching out to your client immediately to offer TruStage® Term Life using the agent-assisted application. TruStage Term Life offers instant decision life insurance protection up to $300,000 for elevated risk clients ages 20–69.
