Christmas is rapidly approaching and you’re wondering what you and your partner can do while on vacation together. Do you love the fresh air? Or, do you prefer to stay warm? A combination of both? There are a lot of different options... The main objec- tive is to make the most of the holidays by sharing some activities together instead of doing nothing at all. What’s more, once you’ve decided on what to do, you can avoid the never-ending discussions about your plans for the day.

The secret lies in Ànding the right bal- ance between too much preparation and not enough. Therefore, a general outline of your vacation could include: winter sports, cultural visits, staying at a country inn or spa, etc. Be sure to leave enough Áexibility for a change of plans in case the weather changes or you make spur of the moment decisions. Don’t forget that impromptu activities often make for the happiest memories! Some couples, afraid of Ànding them- selves alone, have a tendency to make too many plans. They then risk returning to work exhausted without having fully enjoyed their free time by strengthening their relationship with each other. You should never be afraid of being bored. Vacations should also include downtime! Travel is gaining in popularity at this time of year. People don’t necessarily want to spend time with family mem- bers with whom they don’t always get along. Or, couples may prefer to just rest and relax far away from exhausting festivities and freezing temperatures... So, go on, get organized!
