ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

This fully funded degree will train you to become a Neurophysiologist, leading directly to highly-skilled career in the healthcare setting.

Neurophysiology is an exciting field that requires a high level of responsibility and problem solving ability. At our excellent facilities, which provide realistic workplace simulations, you will learn to carry out investigations relating to the function of the nervous system to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders. You will spend approximately half of your course on clinical placements, which will allow you to hone the practical skills you need to begin your career with confidence. You will also benefit from experience in our award-winning, on-site Health and Wellbeing Academy, which provides a range of services for the local community including clinics in collaboration with the NHS. TYPICAL MODULES INCLUDE: Year 1 • Anatomy and Physiology • Mathematics and Physics • Neurosensory Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology • Neurosensory Clinical Measurement and Treatment • Neurosensory Science

Year 2 • Applied Neurophysiology and Instrumentation • Clinical Neurophysiology • Evoked Potentials • Instrumentation Signal Processing and Imaging • Neuroanatomy and Physiology Year 3 • Abnormal EEG and Interpretation
