Medical Genetics is an exciting and fast-moving field with an enormous impact on medicine, helping us to understand, diagnose, and treat many human diseases.

Learn techniques for analysing gene expression, protein interactions, DNA structure and damage, and gain an in-depth understanding of the building blocks of life. You will benefit from access to state-of-the-art research facilities and develop excellent project management skills, learning how to design experiments and plan work programmes. MSci Programme This integrated undergraduate master’s degree adds specialist training in laboratory techniques and a further research-focused year, awarding you a master’s level qualification while paying undergraduate fees and is ideal for a career in research.
