Adult Nursing is a diverse and essential profession. At our excellent facilities, which provide realistic workplace simulations, you will learn about the holistic needs of people from early adulthood until old age and develop the professional skills to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based care to promote the health and wellbeing of adults with acute and chronic conditions. You will spend approximately half of your course on clinical placements in the NHS and independent sector, in hospitals and community settings, which will allow you to hone the practical skills you need to begin your career with confidence. Your application should explain why you think you'd be a good nurse and show your commitment to the profession.

FUTURE CAREERS: Swansea University is commissioned to train Adult Nurses for the NHS Wales Workforce. Currently the NHS starting salary is £27,055 (Band 5), with many opportunities for career progression. *Applicants in the Hywel Dda University Heath Board area may undertake this course via Dispersed Learning. Taking a blended-learning approach, you will undertake practice-learning opportunities in a variety of environments, supported by practice supervisors, as well as face-to-face teaching across the locality, all supported by our cloud-based learning platform.
