OPERATING DEPARTMENT PRACTICE SINGLETON PARK CAMPUS

This fully funded degree will train you to become an Operating Department Practitioner, leading directly to a rewarding and highly-skilled career in the clinical setting.

Operating Department Practice is a diverse and essential profession that encompasses patient care, team work and attention to detail. At our excellent facilities, which provide realistic workplace simulations, you will learn to provide skilled, holistic care and support to patients at all stages of an operation, from anaesthetics, throughout surgery and into recovery. You will also learn to manage people and resources within the surgical environment. You will spend a large proportion of your course on placements in clinical settings, which will allow you to hone the practical skills you need to begin your career with confidence.
