This fully funded degree will train you to become an Occupational Therapist, leading directly to a rewarding and highly-skilled career in a range of clinical and community settings.

Occupational Therapy is a diverse and rewarding profession that makes a real difference to people’s quality of life. At our excellent facilities, which provide realistic workplace simulations, you will develop the skills to help people overcome difficulties caused by illness, disability, accidents or ageing from basic self-care at home to work-related activities, hobbies and more by using aids and adaptations, modifying tasks or developing new skills. You will spend a large proportion of your course on placements in a range of clinical and community settings, often working as part of a multidisciplinary team across the health and social care sectors, which will allow you to hone the practical skills you need to begin your career with confidence. Applying for Occupational Therapy When applying for this course, you should show that you understand the role of the occupational therapist and understand the importance of the NHS Wales values. Your application should explain why you think you'd be a good occupational therapist and show your commitment to the profession.
