As a student on our Mechanical Engineering degree, you will gain the skills you need for a rewarding career in a range of sectors, including automotive energy/utilities manufacturing, medical and aerospace engineering. You will develop analytical and problem-solving abilities, whilst gaining hands-on experience of advanced equipment. You will learn to utilise these to address real-world design challenges. Establishing skills which are vital to securing employment in this fast-moving industry. You will benefit from our state-of-the-art facilities, throughout your time in Swansea. These include a fluids laboratory set engine test room, 3D-printers, virtual reality headsets, Industrial Robots and a Cyber Physical System – "Factory of the Future".
