With nearly a billion native speakers worldwide, Mandarin Chinese is the most common language required for professional translation services. This degree is unique in the UK and is for students with a native or near-native command of Mandarin and a high level of competence in English.

Our preferred offer is BBB at A Level or HKDSE levels 443 including a minimum of 3 in English and Chinese. Applicants from China should have at least one year suitable study after their High School Certificate e.g. foundation or degree, plus IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component).
