Enter Ensure Productivity, which works with employers to pro- vide corporate wellness programs, including consulting, training, treatment and education. Tim Shaeffer, the company’s director of operations, said Ensure Productivity’s programs lower the chances of employee injuries and improve their overall health and are customized to the specific needs of each client. “For example, a plan for an office where employees are sedentary and typing for eight hours a day is going to be different than one for a manufacturing environment,” Shaeffer noted. A major factor that sets Ensure Productivity apart is the exper- tise it brings to the table. “Most other wellness programs aren’t made up of licensed health professionals,” Shaeffer explained. “We bring in physical therapists, dietitians, mental-health profes- sionals and more to get to the root causes of injury and illnesses. These people are the Justice League of health professionals, and we bring them together to provide the best of the best in custom programming.”
In addition to its all- star network of health professionals, Ensure Productivity’s team has worked with an elite array of clients, includ- ing Olympic athletes, the Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Ravens, Gen- eral Motors and more.
Ensure Productivity has been a St. John Properties client for about three years. “Because we offer programming here in our offices as well as on-site for our client businesses, we needed office space that could include a gym and a kitchen,” Shaeffer said.
