une réussite. Avec un soleil radieux et une foule enthousiaste, les 70 pompiers volontaires ont livré un bel exemple de leur savoir-faire et de leur efficacité, lorsqu’il s’agit de porter secours à une personne emprisonnée dans son véhicule à la suite d’un accident. Outre le temps d’exécution, plusieurs facteurs ont été évalués par les juges pour déterminer les équipes gagnantes, dont la capacité à travailler en équipe et naturellement l’application rigoureuse des consignes de sécurité.
« Un gros succès », nous dit Dominic Côté au terme de la première compétition entre pompiers qui s’est tenue à Alfred samedi dernier. Chef de la caserne d’Alfred- Plantagenet, M. Côté travaillait sur la préparation de l’événement depuis plusieurs mois, aidé de nombreux collègues. Le jour J enfin arrivé, tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour en faire
