FACT: By adding a recycled playground , Four Points Church was able to create an outdoor space for families to play and worship.

Based in Acworth, Ga., Four Points Church was founded September 14, 2008. Their mission is to gain disciples and change the lives of people through spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They seek to do this through their four points: love, devotion, passion, and legacy. Before the church built their own building, they rented space at Pickett’s Mill Elementary School. When they moved in October 2016, the church sought to bring an old element from the school setting to its new church grounds: a playground. “When we decided to build our first building, one of the first things we thought about was offering our kids a nice place to play,” Stephen Burton, Executive Pastor at Four Points Church said. “We wanted a playground that would last. Though it was a budget concern, it was a priority for us to have a play space for the community throughout the week and between services.”

swing set, two spinners, and wood fiber surfacing. They chose a recycled structure over a steel structure because of it’s durability, affordability, impact on the environment, and ease of carrying out a community build. Since the recycled playgrounds are more user-friendly to install than steel playgrounds, which require more expertise, doing a supervised build with a certified installer allowed them to get more play equipment while also getting the church community involved in the project. Four Points Church offers age-appropriate programs for children who are infants to 5th grade students. These programs encompass faith-based lessons and games for children to enjoy. With the addition of a Superior playground, the church made an effort to further worship outside the church. “Every Sunday, families will bring children out for some time on the playground,” Burton said. “We even see kids playing in the play area during the week. They have a lot of fun and they love it.” The playground immediately enhanced the site’s architectural value upon installation. The church community is very pleased with the outcome of the play area. It’s also become a place where families can spend more quality time together. “We’re pleased with the results of the playground,” Burton said. “What’s great is seeing kids play between services and parents hanging out and talking to each other while their kids play. It’s been great for our church community.”

The church wanted the best playground that would stand the test of time.

“When looking for a playground, we didn’t want to go wood and we didn’t want one from a local store. Children had to be awed by the playground and think it was cool,” Burton said. At the time, Burton reached out to several playground companies for quotes and designs, searching for the perfect solution. He discovered Superior and found the playground solution that met the needs and wants of the church. They chose a play environment complete with a recycled play structure for children aged 5-12, 2-bay

FACT: By adding new play equipment , Isaac M. Wise Temple is able to foster relationships within their Jewish community.

Isaac M. Wise Temple is a modern, vibrant, and enduring reform Jewish community in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are inspired by the innovative vision of Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise, founder of the American Reform Movement. Their sacred community cultivates deep multi-generational connections with Reform Judaism, each other, God, and the world around them through meaningful worship, lifelong Jewish learning, and acts of good deeds. They are one congregational family with two houses of worship: a suburban location and a downtown location. Alongside our SRP Certified Partner, Walnut Grove Playgrounds, we created an outdoor play area at their suburbal location called the Wise Center, a contemporary, suburban location to the congregation’s traditional worship center in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. The Wise Center is home to a religious school that caters to even the congregation’s youngest members.

The new play environment is beneficial for fostering relationships within their Jewish community for school-aged children and their families. From B’nai Mitzvah and Confirmation celebrations, children share many important milestones together. The outdoor play area offers play opportunities for children between the ages of 2-12. The playground structure, our PS5-31664, features numerous slides, climbers, and interactive play panels. It’s topped with a large modular shade to keep children cool and protect the equipment from harsh weather. The play area also includes a shaded swing set, spinners, and musical instruments. To top off this play environment, the customer chose poured-in- place (PIP) surfacing, a beautiful surfacing option that has high wear resistance.

FACT: By adding a shelter , First Baptist Church of Venice was able to create a scenic outdoor gathering space for lakefront worship .

First Baptist of Venice was established in 1934. Their earliest church members founded a rich heritage of faith as they set out to glorify God and bring souls to Him through ministry in Venice, Fla. With an established and bustling downtown location, they decided to expand and opened a second location called The Lakefront. “The lakefront property is very near and dear to my heart,” Senior Pastor Tom Hodge said. “When Tassie and I first toured the area in 1992 as a prospective new pastor, we both felt the whispering of the Holy Spirit that this specific land would some day become part of First Baptist.” Our SRP Certified Partner ARC Florida worked with the church to install a shelter at their new waterfront property.

Their 50-foot All-Steel Hexagonal Duo-Top Shelter features great design details. It has Lattice and Cupola, which features a custom cross. The shelter provides members of the church and community with a place to gather for fellowship and worship. On Sunday mornings, they offer casual modern worship at the shelter. Families are able to sit together and dress casual. Along the pavilion area are winding trails that hug the lakefront. It’s perfect for walks, quiet prayer, and spritual contemplation. “The Lakefront provides a refreshing new retreat for spiritual nourishment and recreation for our members and community alike,” Pastor Tom said.

and children from the sun’s heat and harmful UV rays. This environment is also equipped with bongo drums, two crawl tunnels, and poured-in- place surfacing. The natural color scheme play area is designed for children 2-12 years old. The recycled play structure adds lots of play value. It features slides, challenging climbers, and interactive panels. This play space also has a crawl tunnel and poured-in- place safety surfacing. Our recycled playgrounds look like wood without any of the unwanted maintenance. Made from reclaimed post-consumer plastic products like milk jugs, this material is durable and resistant to vandalism, corrosion, rotting, splitting, salt spray, marine borers, termites, oil, and fungus. For even more protection, our recycled material is manufactured with UV additives in order to prevent fading in the sun.

In Flower Mound, Texas, the Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church offers the community a safe place for children, adults, and families to worship. Their children’s ministry is a big part of their community. They offer weekday preschool and kindergarten through the Trietsch Enrichment Center as well as Sunday school, child care, and more. Our SRP Certified Partner, Kraftsman, helped create two outdoor play environments on the Trietsch MUMC campus. The two play spaces allow the church to provide meaningful play opportunities for children of all ages. The primary color scheme play space is specifically designed for younger children 2-5 years old. The steel structure features age-appropriate climbers, slides, and interactive play panels. It’s topped with a modular shade to help protect the equipment
