Le développement industriel et commercial à Clarence- Rockland semble être train de devenir la principale priorité de la municipalité. Clarence-Rockland a établi les objectifs de la Cité pour les trois prochaines années, dans le cadre du Plan stratégique 2015- 2021. Selon celui-ci, le développement industriel et commercial est essentiel pour maintenir la stabilité financière de la Cité. « Ça crée des emplois, a fait remarquer Guy Desjardins, le maire de Clarence- Rockland. Le développement industriel apporte plus de taxes et les taxes étant plus élevées au niveau industriel, alors la Ville a de meilleurs revenus. » &OFGGFU MB$JUÊTFTUFOHBHÊFÆWFOESF cinq acres de terrains commercial et indus- triel pour promouvoir les entreprises. Industrial development in Clarence-Rockland is becoming more and more of a priority for the municipality. Commercial and industrial growth was named by residents as one of the municipality’s priorities, within the City’s 2015-2021 Strategic Plan. In the last few months, the City has sold industrial lands to an entrepreneur who plans to begin construction by the spring.
