Mr. Butler was engaged to be the lead transactional attorney for Hamil- ton Crossings Shopping Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, which in- cluded the transformation of a former mine site into a commercial town center encompassing more than 500,000 SF. This engagement was one of the most complicated transactions in recent years. It included plac- ing a condominium structure on the shopping center and negotiating operating agreements and leases with numerous national anchor stores, while structuring the ownership and financing in order to receive sever- al grants and other public subsidies.
