Giroux. Jusqu’à présent, ce dernier affirme qu’il y a eu des rencontres entre la partie patronale et syn- dicale, mais que rien n’a pu être complété. Aux dires du président de la section lo- cale, un retour à la table de négociation est prévu pour les 2 et 6 septembre. Environ 265 employés sont touchés par ces négociations.
Même si le piquet d’information n’a pas eu lieu comme prévu le 17 août dernier, il n’en reste pasmoins que les travailleurs en éducation du Conseil scolaire du district catholique de l’Est ontarien (CSDCEO) tiennent à obtenir une entente en vue de signer une nouvelle convention collective. Au sujet justement du piquet d’informa- tion, pas moins de 200 travailleurs étaient attendus, mais le conseil scolaire a refusé que l’évènement se tienne sur son terrain. Sansfaçon was found in possession of an unspecified amount of cocaine and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He is also charged with failure to comply with a legal recog- nizance. He was held in custody for a bail hearing and later released after the hearing on another recognizance. He is scheduled for provincial court on Aug. 31 in L’Orignal.
