17th Annual Turkey Collection!
While most everyone was away during the summer, your Manager and his capable team were hard at work doing routine off season maintenance, scheduled reserve projects and new work creating Pickleball courts. By the time you arrive, all will be complete and ready for your use and enjoyment. All projects came in on or under budget. Our annual audit was positive and no issues were raised. The 2015/2016 year end financial statements indicated a positive bottom line and, as expected, our current year budget is on track with projections. Thank you Clint, Brenda and staff. The ORPS Finance Committee under the leadership of Dave Mueller has done a terrific job and will be active again this season working on various topics. If you are interested in joining this committee please attend their meetings and make your wishes known. Reflection.... Some fourteen years ago I first joined the ORPS Board serving as CFO, VP and multiple times as President and will be completing my eleventh and final year this season. Particularly in the areas of accounting and finance we have advanced and improved our processes, reporting and account funding. ORPS's management, accounting, own- er services and Board office services have become very very professional today as compared to earlier times. Our checks and balances are sound and adhered to well. I am pleased to see this growth and maturity and hope that you feel the same. Onward and Upward!
Donna Fitzpatrick Lot 266 Madeline Furman Lot 1159 are coordinating this year’s effort to raise money to donate
to the Salvation Army for their Thanksgiving Outreach to needy families in the Coachella Valley. They serve hundreds of dinners to shut-ins in our community and donate just the turkey to many many more. Give your $$$ to Donna or Madeline at their lots by Sunday November 20th. Volunteers are needed from each Phase to canvas their neighbors to contribute to this worthy cause.
