Are you an income-restricted homeowner (aged 60 or older) who needs home repairs? Rural Housing Partnership has solutions! We connect eligible clients to grants and loans for major repairs and address basic home safety issues. Our repairs include roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, handicap accessibility for bathrooms and entry ways. Rural Housing Partnership
Gloucester Rotary Club engages in the community through service, personal growth, and fostering a sense of giving back. Over the next couple of months, Gloucester Rotary will have events that we would love for you to be a part of. Flags for Heroes honor our veterans. You can sponsor a flag for $50, to honor your veteran. Flags will be up for 10 days (beginning November 6) and fly proudly in front of the Gloucester Chick-fil-A. Other upcoming events include volunteering with Bread for Life on the first Wednesday of each month (Aug. 6, Sept. 3, Oct. 1, and Nov. 5), Ware Episcopal Church Farmers Market (Sept 25), the Animal Control Rabies Clinic in October, helping with road cleanup (Oct. 18) and helping with Antler Trail at Machicomoco State Park.
