Downtown Decorations was established in 2003 by Ted Peterson and his son Garrett Peterson as a small holiday decor business. After years of steady growth, Downtown Decorations is now a premier provider of decorative services with a portfolio spanning projects of all sizes around the globe. We continue, however, to retain the values of a family business that pours the same level of energy and passion into each project as we did on day one. Now, if you can’t already tell, we’re cuckoo for Christmas, but some are surprised to learn that our capabilities stretch beyond the holiday season to year-round projects. We are one of the leading producers of light pole banners, and like all aspects of our company, we provide customization on every level. If you can draw it, photograph it, or write it, we can print it. We like to call ourselves a design house with the capabilities to design, craft, fabricate, and install decor. PROGRAM

Our banner programs provide a reliable source that enables your properties to order consistent quality banners. We can print your existing designs and photographs, or work with our in-house design team to create a range of designs that fit your company’s brand. This allows centers to easily create a cohesive program that fits their unique space.

Our team is here to provide information on banner design, sizing and placement, accessories and hardware, and secure installation. To prevent banners from succumbing to the conditions, we produce ours with the highest quality fabrics & inks. With the best warranty on the market, we cover both defect and fading for 3 full years.

Create a line of interchangeable designs for managers to choose from that highlights what each property has to offer. Text areas can easily be customized to include the center’s name or to promote individual tenants.

STYLIZED PRODUCT LINE Create your own custom line of pre-ornamented holiday foliage options with a consistent color scheme.

Having a cohesive line of products allows centers to use their discretion on which products to decorate with, while maintaining brand consistency. Whether they choose to install building front wreaths and sprays, or adorn their light poles with banners and wrap them in garland, your custom line will be consistent.

CUSTOMIZED DISPLAYS

Rollouts don't have to be limited to small product selection. Your product line can be organized for different types of centers to allow for varying budget levels. While some may only need pole decor, other centers may want to include a giant tree or custom photo opportunity.

We have an initial meeting with you to establish needs, requirements, time-line and budget ranges .

Design

Next, we design and price a product line to fit all the needs you have established and provide samples and renderings. We then submit a proposal to you for final approval.

Launch

Order The ordering process can be customized to fit your needs. We have the capability to build a dedicated web portal that allows for a seamless process to view available products, place orders, and view order confirmations. A catalog of approved options with pricing can be sent out to company managers digitally or as a printed piece. You can introduce the program as a company wide rollout or in scheduled increments.

The client was the owner and operator of over 500 open air shopping centers.

Custom designed and center-branded light pole banners in a variety of size options and corresponding hardware.

Scope

The client needed Downtown Decorations to design, produce and roll out unique company branded light pole banners to be available to all 550 properties to order. The process needed to be streamlined so banners could be ordered by individual properties, be customized with the property’s name, and be ordered in the quickest and most effective manner.

Solution: Online Banner Portal

Product Pages Online product pages include images and information for all banner options, sizing and hardware. Clients can easily select products and add them to their shopping cart.

Checkout & Billing

Downloadable Resources Portals can include helpful resources to help individual center property managers choose correct banner sizes and hardware. These easy to understand guides provide answers for common banner questions.

Online billing allows for corporate to be notified that an order had been placed. The website emails a confirmation to the center, the director of marketing, and Downtown Decorations, each containing the relevant information. When the items ship, they are labeled with the center name, number, and box contents. An email is then generated with the tracking number and box count .
