Did Mary love Jesus a great deal? How do you show your love for people? (By actions. Doing things tor them.) When Mary turned around Whom did she see? (v. 14.) Did she know Him? (She supposed He was the caretaker of the garden.) What was she anxious to know? (v. 15.) What did she want to do with His body? Why did she not know Jesus? Did He have a different body? (Yes, a glorified body.) How might sbe have known that He was the same one w11o was crucified? (Luke 24:39.) What did she say? (Master.) What did Jesus say? (v. 17.) What did He tell her to do? (v. 17.) What did Mary do next? (v. 18.) Would you have been glad to have seen Him? Do you expect to see Him some day? Memory Verse: "Behold, my hands and my feet, that It is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have." (Luke 24:39.) • If When Jesus was led away, it was to be crucified. They always made the prisoners carry the heavy crosses they were to be nailed upon, so Jesus had to carry His cross. It was so heavy; Jesus was weak and sick from the bad treatment He had received; He c'ould not carry it, so they made a man who was near, by name of Simon, carry It for Him. I think that Simon was glad to help Jesus that much. They went out– side the walls of Jerusalem, to a little hill that was shaped like a skull, called Golgotha.
