NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING A COUNTY INITIATED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL PLAN OF THE CORPORATION OF THE UNITED COUNTIES OF PRESCOTT AND RUSSELL
AVIS EST DONNÉ que la Corporation des Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell initie une modification à son Plan officiel. Le Conseil des Comtés unis tiendra une réunion publique le 26 e jour de septembre 2018 à 10h30 à l’édifice administratif des Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell situé au 59, rue Court, L'Orignal, Ontario, afin de considérer la modification n° 35 proposée au Plan officiel des Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell conformément aux articles 17 et 21 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire , L.R.O. 1990, dans sa forme modifiée. LE BUT ET EFFET Le but de la modification proposée est de modifier le plan officiel des Comtés unis afin d'ajouter une politique concernant l’échange de chemins municipaux et de comtés, d’ajouter des critères pour la création de terrains intercalaires, d’encourager l’utilisation de techniques de règlement des différends dans les dossiers d’aménagement, de retirer la zone de protection des têtes de puits pour la région de Russell et de Marionville ainsi que de retirer les ressources en agrégats minéraux à l’intérieur de l’affection des sols du secteur des politiques commerce et industrie. Ceci est unemodification en vertu des articles 17 et 21 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire et non pas un examen quinquennal en vertu de l'article 26 la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire . Cette modification touche l’ensemble du territoire des CUPR. The County Council will hold a public meeting on the 26th day of September, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at the United Counties of Prescott and Russell Administrative Building located at 59 Court Street, L’Orignal, Ontario, to consider the proposed amendment No. 35 to the Official Plan of the United Counties of the Prescott and Russell under Sections 17 and 21 of the Planning Act , R.S.O. 1990, as amended. PURPOSE AND EFFECT The purpose of the proposed Amendment is to amend the County Official Plan to add policies regarding the exchange of roads between a municipality and the Counties, to add criteria for the creation of an infill lot, to encourage the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques, to remove the Wellhead Protection Area in the region of Russell and Marionville and to remove the mineral aggregate resources identified in the Trade and Industry Policy Area. This is an amendment under Sections 17 and 21 of the Planning Act and not a FiveYear Review under Section 26 of the Planning Act . This amendment affects the entire geographic area of the UCPR.
