Pray often; for prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan." BUNYAN * * * "/ a.rn so busy today, that I cannot afford to spend less than four hours in prayer." JOHN WESLEY * * * A little deaf girl was once asked by a lady, who wrote the queotion on a slate: "What is prayer?" The little girl took the chalk and wrote the reply: "Prayer is the wish of the heart."
