Started at Samson Resources in Tulsa, OK in 2005 as a Staff Accountant in Payout Accounting and promoted to Sr. Accountant in 2010. Transferred to the Division Order group at Samson in 2012 and passed the CDOA certification exam in 2016. Left Samson in December 2016 and started at Tecolote Energy, LLC in Tulsa, OK to handle the Owner Relations group, payouts, escheat and other accounting duties. Served three years with Tecolote as an Operations Accountant/CDOA and am now responsible for escheat and heading up the Owner Relations group at Blackbeard Operating, LLC subsequent to the merger with Tecolote in November 2019. Personal – Has lived in Claremore, OK since 2000. Mom to a wonderful son who graduated from Claremore High School in May 2019 and is now a Freshman studying at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. Have a great boyfriend of 9+ years who also lives in Claremore and is an electrician. Enjoy walking/running our dog Waylon in my neighborhood or at Claremore Lake. Attend church in Claremore and enjoy watching or attending local sporting events including the Claremore Zebras, Rogers State Hillcats, Tulsa Hurricane and Arkansas Razorbacks. Grew up an OU fan, however finally said “Go Cowboys” in June 2019 at Montgomery’s orientation at the University of Wyoming. SADOA ended 2019 with a very merry holiday meeting on December 5 at the Gilcrease Museum. The evening included dinner, their ever-popular basket raffle, and lots of give-aways. The charity benefitting from the basket raffle was A New Leaf. Congratulations to Joe Anderson who was presented with the SADOA Lifetime Achievement Award.
SADOA’s February meeting featured Tom Seng, Applied Assistant Professor of Energy Business and Director of the School of Energy, University of Tulsa, speaking on “Factors That Influence Oil & Natural Gas Prices.” Up next is SADOA’s April Luncheon, scheduled for April 8 at the Tulsa Country Club.
