PROJECT

HAMILTON GARDENS, DUBLIN

HEVAC SUPPLIED THE HAMWORTHY’S WESSEX MODUMAX MK3 BOILERS TO THE SLEEK HAMILTON GARDENS APARTMENT COMPLEX IN DUBLIN… BOILERS

H evac was selected by main contractor M&P Mechanical to provide the boilers for the heating system that covers the nine apartment buildings, gym and other amenities at Hamilton Gardens in an up-and-coming neighbourhood in Dublin. One of Ireland’s leading domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing and heating specialists, Hevac supplied Hamworthy’s Wessex Modumax MK3 boilers. These boilers were perfect for the plant room and application. They are incredibly space-saving and the perfect choice for any space-restricted and compact plant room. These modular boilers benefit from a stainless-steel heat exchanger and are backed up with a 10-year warranty, making the Wessex ModuMax MK3 an extremely robust option. As a fully

modulating boiler, the product is also an economical alternative, as it uses less fuel and offers closer load matching. Hamworthy’s Wessex ModuMax MK3 boilers are lightweight, feature a low water content and are ideal for new build or retrofit, basement or rooftop plant rooms. Individual boilers can be stacked one, two or three high, in up to 15 combinations. For the Hamilton Gardens apartment complex, Hevac supplied three stacks of Hamworthy boilers, with eight modules in total and a combined power of 2032kW. All boilers were additionally provided with Hamworthy’s factory-assembled reverse return pipe manifold kits, incorporating all necessary valves, interconnecting pipework and flexible flow and return connections. Karl Carrick, Commercial and Industrial Director at Hevac, was delighted to have

the company work on yet another project with M&P Mechanical. “Their name is synonymous in the industry for quality and their coordination of all stakeholders involved was seamless,” he commented. Hevac supplies every plumbing and heating component imaginable to the residential, commercial and industrial sectors and can offer in-house specialists including design engineers, CAD technicians and system specialists.
