Tenants Our tenants are central to our success and purpose. We focus on the creation of healthy, productive, and sustainable built environments that attract and retain tenants and position ESRT for long-term success. We gather tenant feedback on property management and sustainability through annual satisfaction surveys conducted by a third-party survey administrator across 100% of our commercial portfolio. In addition, we directly engage with tenants through town halls and educational sessions focused on sustainability. Sustainable Solutions for Our Tenants We offer complimentary tenant energy and sustainability visits upon request to evaluate existing tenant spaces for opportunities to improve sustainability performance. We share with our tenants sustainability and utility data to support their own tracking, disclosure, and reporting efforts. To further support our tenants’ sustainability goals and enhance their environmental performance, we provide a Tenant Sustainability Toolkit along with a range of resources and tools. ESRT also has transformed numerous building setbacks into usable tenant terraces to enhance access to outdoor space and contribute to a healthier work environment. We have six green roofs and 12 apiaries throughout the portfolio to provide our tenants with access to nature, improve stormwater quality and quantity, and create habitats for local insects and birds.
Amenities and the Campus We design and operate our buildings to promote a culture of health and community. The Empire State Building features over 65,000 square feet of world-class amenities that include:
