PLB 702 PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES IN CASE SUPERVISION (3) A seminar in case supervision. Students are responsible for supervising the profes sional experiences of less advanced students. Elective. PLB 740 ACTUALIZATION THERAPY (3) A study of the counseling relationship and the process of therapy from a growth or actualization perspective, including selected theorists such as Rogers, Gendlin, Perls, and selected existential therapists. Elective. Prerequisites: PSY 602 and PSY 690. THEOLOGY This series of courses provides students with essential biblical and theological un derstanding prerequisite to effective integration of the disciplines of psychology and theology.
THE 505 BIBLICAL STUDIES I (3)
An introductory course which surveys the background and teaching of the Old Tes tament and is designed to equip students with the skills that will enable them to integrate psychology and theology. THE 506 BIBLICAL STUDIES II (1) A continuation of THE 505 with emphasis on the development of a biblically based system of ethics.
THE 507 BIBLICAL STUDIES III (3)
A continuation of THE 505 and THE 506 with special emphasis on the back ground and teaching of the New Testament. The course is designed to facilitate the integration of psychology and theology.
THE 511 THEOLOGY I:
GOD AND REVELATION (3) Consideration of the nature and method of theology, revelation, including general and special, with emphasis on the inspiration and authority of the Bible. The nature and characteristics of God and His trinitarian distinctions along with the divine de crees are included. THE 512 THEOLOGY II: MAN (4) A study of the origin and nature of man including the fall and the resultant conse quences of sin.
THE 611 THEOLOGY III: SALVATION (3)
The redemptive plan of God centering in the Person and work of Christ and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the application of this salvation. Includes study of the doctrines of election, regeneration, justification, and sanctification. 47
