Sovereign Grand Inspector General Gregory D. Wraggs Sr., 33 o , Deputy

Historical Milestones at Peninsular It was a year of "firsts" and "forevers" for Peninsular #44. In a remarkable display of lifelong dedication, SGIG Charles Slater reached the milestone of 50 years in Masonry, a half century of service that serves as an inspiration to every young man entering the craft. Leadership in the Rite often goes hand in hand with leadership in the world. C.I.C. Hernando Flowers was ceremoniously promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves. This achievement was recognized with a formal tribute from Michigan Legislators and the Governor, presented by his 1LT, the Honorable Jimmie Wilson, Jr. Furthermore, #44 successfully conducted their own intake for the first time in over a decade and ceremoniously opened their Lodge of Perfection for the first time in five years, marking a period of significant growth and revival.

Commander S.P. Kelly S. Coleman Sr. for his work in Masonic education. For three years, S.P. Coleman has been a lead presenter at the Sublime Prince Education Symposium. His expertise has now been recognized on a national level, as he has been appointed as an Associate Dean for the United Supreme Council Online Education Committee. Students can look to S.P. Coleman as a prime example of how dedication to learning can lead to positions of great influence and the ability to teach others on a global stage. The Servant Hearts of Homer E. Gaines #112 As the host of the entire Council, Homer E. Gaines #112 demonstrated what it means to lead through service. Their members were active across the Grand Rapids area, volunteering with the Black Impact Collaborative (BIC) and lending their time to the Grand Rapids Auto Show. Their reach extended to supporting fellow lodges, including assisting North Star Lodge #5 with their annual Velvet Sip and participating in the Martha Chapter #1 "Rep Your Team" event. Their work proves that being a member of the Rite means being a constant, positive presence in the lives of those around you. The 121st Annual Michigan Council of Deliberation was not just a recap of the past year; it was a blueprint for the future. For the students of today, the Orient of Michigan offers a vision of what a life of purpose looks like—one defined by scholarship, brotherhood, and an unwavering commitment to the community.

On November 27, 2026, the Orient of Washington/Oregon along with The Order of Golden circle partnered with the Nora Lee Walker Foundation to deliver food, warm clothing, and toiletries to the less fortunate. A group of more than 30 members/volunteers from 4 consistories and assemblies served over 350 individuals–carrying out over 100 plates and 100 bags of toiletries, hats, scarves and gloves to the Tacoma, Seattle, and Olympia area. The Deputy ’ s Visitation to Cascadian Assembly #46 was a well- received visit. The Loyal Ladies are doing an exceptional job and have 5 new Loyal Ladies that have been put to work. These ladies are excited to be in the Order of the Golden circle. Assembly #46 currently hosts a Golden Hour which was very refreshing. The Deputy ’ s visit to each consistory in January was very successful, as they continue to educate and involve themselves in Orient and United Supreme Council events. The orient is hosting a raffle called “ The Golden Ticket ”, its primary function is to raise money for scholarships. See any member of the Orient for tickets and information.
