USA MEN’S U19 WORLD CUP TEAM 2025 RESULTS

The U.S. finished its quest for redemption in Lausanne, finishing with a 7-0 record. After racing through the group stage with wins over Aus- tralia, France and Cameroon, the Americans capped off their run with a gold medal win over Germany by a score of 109-76. The red, white, and blue took down the Australians, 88-73. The U.S. got off to a quick start abroad, grabbing an 11-3 lead and never looking back. AJ Dybantsa began his MVP campaign as the squad’s leading scorer with 18 points. Koa Peat put up his first double-double of the event, posting 17 points and 10 rebounds. Mikel Brown Jr. turned up in the second game, a 108-77 victory over France. Brown Jr. tallied a game-high 24 points, while Peat added 17 points for the second consecutive game. Brown Jr. racked up 24 points again in the final group stage matchup against Cameroon. The USA won by a whopping 129-70 score. Caleb Holt racked up 18 points and 8 rebounds. The American’s set the record for most points in a game in U19 history against Jordan in the Round of 16. Tyran Stokes notched a triple-dou- ble in the 140-67 win, recording 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Daniel Jacobsen had his best game of the tournament with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks. On Independence Day, the Americans had their toughest battle yet, narrowly defeating Canada 108-102. Dybantsa’s aggressiveness paid off down the stretch. He went 12-for-13 from the free-throw line and scored 22 points. Brown Jr. controlled the ball on offense, dishing out 8 assists to go along with 20 points. Six players scored in double figures as the USA defeated New Zealand 120-64 in the semifinals. Holt was ever-present on the court, with 20 points and 7 rebounds. His efficiency was on display, grifting his way inside and shooting 8-of-10 from the field. Jasper Johnson was on point from deep range, going 3-for-7 on 3-pointers. In the gold medal matchup against Germany, the Americans found themselves in a hard-fought first half. Leading 40-37 with 4:58 left in the first half, the U.S. took off on a 12-3 surge. The red, white, and blue finished the game strong and took a 109-76 victory, winning their ninth U19 gold medal. Dybantsa, who averaged 14.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, won tournament MVP. Dybantsa and Brown Jr. were also named to the All-Star Five.
