At IPKO, we address this by focusing on network quality, customer experience and the ability to adapt quickly to market changes. Continuous investment in network performance, combined with data-driven decision-making and strong partnerships, allows us to deliver reliable and high-performing services. A clear example of this approach can be seen in our cybersecurity portfolio. As cyber threats increasingly target both individuals and small and medium-sized businesses, the need for accessible and effective protection has grown significantly. In response, we have implemented network-level security solutions, such as DNS-based protection, which help prevent access to malicious domains without requiring user-side configuration. Combined with enterprise cybersecurity services and the development of SOC capabilities, this approach enables real- time monitoring, detection and response, bringing advanced security closer to end users and businesses in a practical and scalable way. This reflects a broader shift in telecoms, from traditional connectivity providers to integrated digital service enablers. The Future: telecoms Meets Technology The telecom industry is undergoing a profound transformation. The expansion
of 5G, exponential growth in data consumption and increasing demand for seamless digital experiences are redefining expectations. Connectivity alone is no longer sufficient; users expect integrated services, personalisation and strong security. This shift is also driving convergence between telecoms and technology companies. Operators are increasingly moving beyond traditional connectivity to offer digital content platforms, cloud- based business solutions, advanced cybersecurity services and smart technologies. For example, telecoms providers today deliver integrated TV and streaming platforms, enterprise cloud and hosting services for businesses and network-level cybersecurity solutions such as DNS protection and managed SOC services. In parallel, they are enabling smart ecosystems, from IoT-based services for businesses to digital tools that support remote work, online education and connected homes. As this transformation continues, we see our role not only as a connectivity provider, but as a long-term digital partner. IPKO is playing a leading role in shaping Kosovo’s digital future, connecting people, businesses and opportunities, contributing to a more connected and digitally empowered society.
sports initiatives, we actively contribute to programmes that drive social inclusion and community development. Through partnerships with organisations such as Bonevet and FlossK, we support digital literacy, innovation and access to technology, particularly among young people, helping equip future generations with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. We have also invested in education and healthcare, supporting schools with connectivity and digital tools and contributing to medical institutions through equipment, services and infrastructure support, helping improve both learning environments and access to care. Through these efforts, IPKO reinforces its role not only as a connectivity provider, but as an active contributor to Kosovo’s social and cultural development.
