Cathedral School for Boys believes that all students benefit from a diverse student body. Academic discussions are more interesting, personal relationships are more enriching, and our awareness and understanding of and for each other is deepened. We strive to make a Cathedral education accessible to families regardless of their financial circumstances. To this end, we maintain one of the most generous financial assistance budgets in the Bay Area. We seek to attract a student body of strong academic potential, diverse in all of its forms. You do not need to be wealthy to attend Cathedral. The School adjusts tuition based on a family’s ability to pay, and there is a wide range of tuitions among Cathedral families from $500 - $34,900. Tuition is all-inclusive and covers daily lunch, book fees, athletics, band, outdoor education, and international travel in seventh and eighth grade. Financial assistance can include our Extended Day Program, uniforms, and additional educational support as needed.
