HAWKESBURY
Cooperation will be theme of 2012 for
the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce.
“We must work together” in order to
promote the assets of Hawkesbury and the
region,saidYvesRobertafterbeingelected
president of the organization at the
chamber’s recent annual meeting.
The goal is to foster closer ties with
other business groups in the region

Business leaders often cite the team
work that was evident during the
September International Plowing Match,
which drew about 70,000 people to the
district. This same collaborative approach
can reap dividends if it is applied to
initiatives such as shop locally
promotions, noted Robert.
Despite its strong points, the region
