While the U.S. remains the primary market, Sperling says the company has also deployed internationally. Sperling’s military background comes through most clearly in the way he talks about performance. “I hire competent people,” he says. “People that know what they’re doing, that are experts in their field.”
I don’t put used toilets in my restrooms,” he says. “I get a good, high-quality toilet and I put it in there knowing that it’s going to work.” What matters is not just where equipment is manufactured, but whether it can be supported in the field. “I don’t mind an oven being built in China, but if I can’t get a repair guy in Arkansas to fix it, it doesn’t do me any good.” That practicality is part of what customers are buying: not simply a trailer, but something that can keep operating when they need it most.
