The 7th edition of Pack Print International at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, welcomed more than 19,000 trade visitors from 62 countries attended the Interna- tional Packaging and Printing Exhibition for Asia — a 15 percent increase compared to the 2017 staging. More than 30 percent came from overseas, with the majority traveling from India, Singapore, Malaysia, Chi- na, and Myanmar.With 325 companies from 30 coun- tries, exhibitor participation also increased by 10 per- cent.The trade show featured country group exhibits from Germany, China, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan. Pack Print International was organized by Messe Düs- seldorf Asia, The Thai Packaging Association and The Thai Printing Association and is modeled after sectors trade fairs drupa and interpack, organized by Messe Düsseldorf in Germany. International visiting delegations traveled to Pack Print International 2019 from the Korea Packaging As- sociation, the Myanmar Paper & Pulp Association, the Myanmar Printers and Publishers Association, from Ja- pan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The exhibits were supported by an ancillary pro- gram consisting of more than 50 events by 35 industry experts. More than 1,500 delegates took part in the ASEAN Printing and Packaging Conference held in conjunction with the ASEAN Printing Forum 2019, the Asian packaging seminar on sustainable packaging for the circular economy by the Asian Packaging Federa- tion, the Food & Beverage Packaging conference, the 2019 Asian Print Awards, the workshop about profes- sional product photography by Photo Business Asso- ciation,Thailand, as well as technical presentations by the exhibitors. Pack Print International will return to BITEC in Bang- kok from September 22-25, 2021.
