SURVEY REPORT - OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS - MAY 2020

OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Would/Would Not Recommend Page 5

80. Laundry facilities at satellite don't work...lights at satellite not working despite calls to office. General cleanliness around pools deteriorating, but most importantly the toxic environment between tennis, pickleball and the in-fighting about golf tee times. 81. For not recommending would be concerned over HOA fees keep rising. For recommending would be all around good activities 82. We love our oasis here. Our friends that visit whom play pickle ball are shocked at the required ball we use and the early ending hours for the harder ball for such a world class PB facility and the popularity of the game 83. It’s a little piece of paradise with as little or as much you would want to you keep you busy. 84. Other than the last few years of degrading maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, the Resort still has significant potential to recover the 5 Star rating we witnessed and enjoyed at time of purchase 4 years ago.

85.

Great social environment

86. Staff very unfriendly at times - old rigs and owner lots not taken care of - no security to speak of - employees running stop signs and going way to fast - past Management not on property - ES kitchen not in working order for years now. Poor thinking on repairs like ES pool tiles being slick when walking with bare wet feet. 87. (Recommend): Great facilities with healthy activity choices. Well maintained (except washers &dryers) and many specialized groups (ukulele, choir, sewing, dancing, etc.). Some of the finest neighbors we have ever had!!

88.

It would depend on which of my friends I was talking to.

89. The reason I would and have recommended the resort to others is the beautiful facilities, numerous activities, evening entertainment and the camaraderie among the owners. 90. I am hesitant to recommend ORPS to others at this time however I am hopeful that this be turn this around. Currently, there is a lack of transparency, communication, focus and trust. How the Board prioritizes spending is questionable and there appears to be a lack of business process. Should the Board continue on its current path by focusing on the 'nice to haves' vs. the 'must haves' like roads that are in need of repair, HOA fees will increase which will have a negative effect on property values and desirability to be an owner. If it wasn't for the good friends we have in the resort, we would likely sell our lot.

91.

Great quality of life in this resort!

92.

13 Pickleball courts, great weather, live music and dances, and beautifully landscaped.

93. First thing would be the daily yoga. We were deciding between ORPS and Outdoor Resorts Indio. We already had a lot picked out at OR Indio but changed our mind because ORPS had the daily yoga on-site.

94.
