SURVEY REPORT - OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS - MAY 2020

OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Would/Would Not Recommend Page 11

189. Outdoor Resort is my family away from my family.

190. I would tell prospective owners that renters have basically same experiences as owners. Why buy when renters get same benefits as owners.

191. Something for everybody. Fun golf activities.

192. A chance to own a little piece of Paradise!

193. I would recommend. The resort is beautiful, friendly people live here, lots of social activities, and centrally located in the valley. The only downside is that there are a lot of rules.

194. You become part of a great community of friends and neighbors.

195. Beautiful grounds, friendly neighbors, and value.

196. Some of the rigs look really tired. We tried to entice friends and old rigs helped perpetuate a negative feeling about the lifestyle. Unfortunately.

197. I'm neutral because RV lifestyle isn't for everybody. If fits, that's great!

198. Same as mentioned earlier. Poor WiFi, bad Laundry maintenances, nasty areas designated for dogs to relieve themselves, increasing HOA.

199. Too many dogs!

200. Friendship of owners and all the amenities

201. Monthly fees are too high. There appears to be favouritism from the AS Committees.

202. A permanent spot at the resort No rental roulette

203. An active not age 55+ community

204. I question the skill level and ability of those in decision making positions, including ORPS management and elected board members. Board members do not have the knowledge and experience to assume responsibility for financial decisions. The large increases to resort fees increase cannot be justified and fees are inappropriately used for non-related projects. Many owners depend on rental income to maintain their ORPS property and rentals have decreased due to the high fees.

205. Good value for money. Buying a lot makes a lot more sense than renting.

206. I would tell them that there is too much conflict of interest that seems to go on by those who feel they can take advantage of the resort such as the tee time theft that was occurring and that these types of situations are not isolated and it is a theft of your fees. Pickle ball now going to use loud ball etc. Love my friends and my space but I get very upset and disappointed at some of the bad decisions that are made. Paying for a golf manager because of tee time theft, I don’t even golf and this will affect my fees. I would tell them it’s better to rent so that you don’t have to get so upset at all the bad decisions that go on.

207. Golf is available

208. Friendly, for the most part well looked after and lots of amenities.

209. Tons of activities
