VOCATIONAL AND FOUNDATION LEARNING
In Vocational and Foundation Learning we offer a wide variety of courses designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to gain more independence and decide what you would like to do in the future. Through these courses you can acquire and improve skills that will open doors to further study, employment or supported employment. Class sizes are generally smaller and a variety of specialist support is available. All students get the opportunity to improve their skills in English, Mathematics and IT too. You can choose Vocational options to try out, such as Catering, Drama, Sport, Engineering, Art, Health & Social Care, Business, IT and Horticulture. Our teaching and support staff will encourage and support you every step of the way to be the best you can be and to realise your full potential.
HSDC is excited to announce that we have been awarded Hampshire SEND Employability Hub status. We are looking to take on a cohort of Year 11 students through a specialist, individualised programme where the outcome is paid employment. For more information please turn to the inside back cover.
