BE ADVENTUROUS

EDUCATIONAL AND RESIDENTIAL TRIPS College life isn’t just about what goes on inside the classroom. We know that to maximise student life you need to experience the real world, putting the theories you study into practice. That’s why we work hard to provide educational and residential trips every year. Trips and tours are fun and can help you in your studies, while travel abroad can be a real eye-opener. Maybe you’ll learn something new from seeing another lifestyle, brush up on your language skills or have one of those light-bulb moments. Our students travel far and wide as part of their courses and our trips vary from year to year. Just to give you an idea, our UK trips usually include visits to: • Concerts at Wigmore Hall, Royal College of Music • The National Theatre • London art galleries • Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre • The Houses of Parliament • Climate Change workshop at Alice Holt Forest • Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst

• Workshops at Jane Austen’s House • Solent Sound • British Museum Past overseas trips have seen students visit the following locations: • Languages trip to Mexico • Physics visit to CERN in Switzerland • Development work in South Africa • History and languages trip to Berlin • Politics trip to Washington • Art trip to Amsterdam DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S AWARD SCHEME Develop work-ready skills and build your CV with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. You will have the opportunity to work towards this prestigious award at Silver or Gold Level, which enables you to get involved in voluntary work, be part of a team and help develop your organisational skills — all excellent preparation for university and beyond.
