STUDENT AMBASSADOR SCHEME The Student Ambassador scheme is open to all students and, as part of the scheme, you’ll have the chance to meet new people and develop your knowledge and skills. Being a Student Ambassador is a great way to boost your employability and will look great on any UCAS application. As part of this programme we’ll give you the opportunity to: • Get involved in College events • Visit local schools to talk about your Alton College experience • Write blog entries for the College website • Help future HSDC students take their next step • Receive rewards for being involved

Forensic investigation: Crime Scene to Court If you’ve ever watched CSI and wondered how realistic it is, then this is for you. We will use some high-profile cases to illustrate how crime scenes are investigated and the roles of the different agencies involved, and then we will look at the scientific approaches used to analyse evidence. LGBTQ+ Meet people, find support, be supportive and be yourself. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Straight students are welcomed to the weekly drop-in sessions. Music We are renowned for our talented music students. We have many diverse bands and ensembles to join, including our Jazz Band, Live Music Performance group, Choir and Chamber Orchestra.
