Ensure that students continue to feel a sense of belonging at WBS and maintain a culture that promotes inclusivity. Rationale: WBS were ranked the top Russell Group Business School for student satisfaction in the NSS in 2022/23. We want to maintain this and ensure students continue to feel a sense of belonging at the School.
Pilot CORE fellow roles for UG students, based on co-creation and raising the visibility of student voice.
2023 – 2024
UG Student Engagement Lead, SEE Team.
6-8 students identified to act as CORE fellows. Projects identified linked to strategic priorities such as EDI, race equality and degree awarding gaps. NSS score remains over 85% throughout the period 2023 – 2028. At least three CORE awards for students launched and celebrated. Promotion of award winners in student spaces.
Launch a set of student CORE awards to recognise student contribution to the community. Ensure consistency in good practice across different programme levels.

Areas for commonality identified and implemented. Improve PTES and PRES responses
