Implement interventions to reduce/ eliminate awarding gaps by gender and ethnicity. Rationale: Whilst there has been a substantial amount of work and analysis that has taken place to better understand degree awarding gaps, this shows the following gaps: • At UG level male students less likely to get a good honours degree 3.1% in 21/22.

Annual reports with recommendations and clear actions for each programme. Reduction in awarding gaps at all programme levels. A reduction in the degree awarding gap.

plans which are reviewed by relevant Programme Committees. Further investigate the degree awarding gap for black students at both UG and PG levels and provide additional support where required. Implementing initiatives to reduce the awarding gap of FY and WP students. Investigate the impact of preferred UK English qualifications on awarding gap and make recommendations to reduce this and better support students.

Keep the degree awarding gap within 10% for FY and WP students compared to DE.

Black UG students have a larger awarding gap than other students. Asian male UG students have had a consistent awarding gap for the last ten years when looking at a good honours degree.

A reduction in the degree awarding gap for international students.
