Support students from underrepresented background to access placements.
Work with the Central University to improve data collection on student demographics. Analyse data and identify underrepresented groups and make recommendations for targeted actions to UG programme committee. Promote opportunities for students to engage with early insight programmes offered by external companies and monitor uptake.

Comprehensive data set which includes WP, gender and ethnicity, available for all UG degrees.
Rationale: WBS has recently introduced a 4 year with placement UG direct entry programme. At present uptake of placements is gender balanced, however, we want to ensure that this continues and look at the intersectionality to ensure all students can access placement opportunities.
