B. Required Minimum Number of Permanent Off-street Parking Spaces by Use. 1. Residential Uses: a. Single-family and two-family dwellings, manufactured/mobile homes, and residential-design manufactured homes: 2 parking spaces per dwelling unit. b. Multiple-family dwellings: 2 parking spaces per dwelling unit. (1) Exception: In multiple-family housing for the elderly, 1.5 spaces per dwelling unit. (2) Exception: In assisted living facilities, 1 space per dwelling unit. c. Residential structures integrated in mixed use buildings: 1.5 parking spaces per dwelling unit. d. Boarding houses: 1 parking space per 2 rooms. e. Dormitories, fraternities, sororities and similar lodging facilities: 2 parking spaces per 3 occupants. f. Hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast inns: 1 parking space per rental unit, plus 1 parking space per employee, plus additional spaces as required for affiliated facilities such as restaurants or assembly rooms. g. Bed and breakfast homes and short term rentals: Parking required for principal dwelling unit, plus 1 parking space per rental unit, plus 1 parking space per employee.
2. Business and Industrial Uses: a. Auto, truck, trailer and manufactured/mobile home sales and rental lots: 1 parking space per 3,000 square feet of open sales lot area devoted to the sale, display and rental of such vehicles, plus 1 parking space per service bay and employee. b. Banks and other financial institutions: 1 space per 250 square feet of floor area, not including meeting rooms. c. Business and professional offices: 1 parking space per 300 square feet of floor area, not including meeting rooms. d. Bowling alleys: 4 parking spaces per lane. e. Funeral homes and mortuaries: 1 parking space per 4 seats based on the designed maximum capacity of the parlor, plus 1 additional parking space per employee and each vehicle maintained on the property. f. Furniture or appliance stores, and service or repair shops: 1 parking space per 400 square feet of floor area. g. Manufacturing, production, processing, assembly, disassembly, cleaning, servicing, testing, or repairing of goods, materials or products: 1 parking space per 2 employees. h. Medical and dental clinics or offices: 2.5 parking spaces per examining or treatment room, plus 1 per doctor and employee. i. Restaurants, private clubs and drinking establishments: 1 parking space per 2.5 seats based on the maximum designed seating capacity, plus 1 parking space per employee. j. Retail stores: 1 space per 250 square feet of floor area, not including meeting rooms.
